How to use “NULL” for query attribute

Query Attributes in Arc GIS is to make easy while you want to select some value of attributes in certain condition.

What if you want to select attributes with condition “NULL”. It is simply way, you could use some brief step with following :

  1. Right click in field you want to select its attributes
  2. Click “Options” and then choose “Select by Attributes”
  3. Now you will see a table with all field name
  4. Double Click field name you want to query
  5. Choose “IS” as syntax operation, then click “Get Unique Values”
  6. Double click “NULL” then click “Apply”
  7. Choose “Selected” to populate attribute you choose
